Following the ban imposed by the FIS on all fluorinated products, CARROT has created a range of fluorine-free products called SURFACTANT.
SURFACTANT waxes are the last frontier and currently the world's top anti-friction additives superior to fluoride. It is a nanotechnological material that does not slide on the base of the skis like the fluorinated products but adheres where there is friction creating a very thin and very smooth layer. It has the lowest coefficient of friction of all ceramic materials and remains constant with the presence or absence of water and at changes in temperature. This material can be used in the form of powder, liquid/spray/paste/gel, or solid combined with paraffin waxes to modify or improve their properties. It has no cons, but only benefits it improves sliding and acceleration while maintaining these characteristics for a long time. Our product is classified as non-hazardous and non-toxic.
